A SERIES

All these ploughs were basically the same as the previous PU series but with the addition of a cross-shaft adjusting handle connected to the frame of the plough to the cross-shaft instead of the previous link adjustment on the lift arm of the tractor. All A series ploughs were 3 furrow and supplied in 10 inch and were adjustable to 10 amd 11 inch. The same share and mouldboard options were offered as the PU series. The A series ploughs were produced up until around 1958-59 when the ‘B’ series ploughs were introduced.  An A-Type PU was designed for the Cropmaster, not VAK, and were built from 1948
