1494 hydraulic filters

Post by BastianGaardahl » Sat Nov 09, 2019 5:12 pm

I'm in the process of changing hydraulic oil and filter. So far i have changed the hydraulic filter located next to the assister ram, and cleaned the screen/mesh filter for the hydra shift --- BUT during the process of removing the screen filter i looked up into the hole where the filter goes, to my big surprise there was a 3rd filter up there. It looks a bit like the hydraulic filter on the smaller 1194 and 1294 tractors.

Is this normal? My 1494 is a 1984 version.

I have to change that filter as well right?

Best Regards

It's not a filter but a suction screen. You can take it out and clean it then re-fit it.
