885/1290 valve chest

885/1290 valve chest

Could any one tell me if a valve chest off a 1290 fit on 885. Thank you for any help

The valve chest from a 1290 will physically fit, but there is no TCU valve in a 1290 valve chest. All other functions are the same in both valve chests.

Hi Ollek,
Thank you for that,I have sauced a 1290 replacement valve chest for the faulty one on my 885. Not having a TCU function is not a problem as the tractor is not used for field work.
