If you search this forum for haynes manuals you will find a link to amongst other things DBT 475 "Tractor Service and Repair Manual" which covers amongst others the DB 900 in there you will find the tappet settings are listed as .015" for inlets and .022" for exhaust or .015" for both depending on the cam fitted - they should be set with the engine hot.

On the second page of the search you can find a selection of parts books the one that covers the 950 is the same engine as yours and gives you exploded views so you can see how it all fits together which you might find useful
