My 950 does not have nuts (same engine) there is a couple of threaded studs that go into the elongated nuts inside the valve spring chamber with a hand tightening knob on them - No they don't need torquing just hand tighten them down onto the cork gasket - there is no pressure there, if it does seep a bit tighten them a bit more. After it has run for a while you will need to take the cover off to re-torque the head.
