Antiques Road trip, Thursday 07 February

Post by admin » Mon Jan 28, 2019 9:03 pm

David Brown Tractor Club will feature on the Antiques Road Trip Thursday 07 February at 1630 on BBC1, featuring David Harper.

Each programme includes a local history feature focusing on the area. David Brown was the natural choice for an episode based around Huddersfield.

Filming took place at the DBTC Museum back in April 2018 and started with Stuart Gibbard, the editor of our Tractor News Magazine driving a tractor along the Meltham Greenway, the former factory proving ground and stopping to pick up antiques expert David Harper.

Membership Secretary John Torley's 1948 Cropmaster was used, then a VAK/100 Threshermen was also filmed.

Stuart was later interviewed at length back in the Museum, talking about tractors and the connection with Aston Martin.

The club would like to thanks all those who helped out on the day or loaned their tractors for filming.
