Young Farmer To tackle Epic Journey on Vintage 1954 David Brown

Post by admin » Wed Jan 09, 2019 9:29 am

Tom Pepper will take on this epic trip From John O'Groats to Lands End in memory of his uncle who passed away from cancer a few years ago.

His uncle competed in many ploughing matches and this particular tractor was one of three he had over time for competing

With his nan being diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and himself being hospitalised with a serious heart condition, he became aware of how people around him pulled together for support and he would like to see if he can get the farming community to pull together to do the same to help tackle something that affects so many of us.

The challenge begins on April 15, 2019. Tom hopes he can complete the 1,000 mile trip in eight days and is aiming to raise £5,000

All of this is to help to raise money for Cancer Research UK and you can find the donation page here...
