1490/33/11186937 is the model and serial number. A 1490 with serial number 11186318 went down the line in march 1982. The number K948211F is a casting number. The first number series is stamped and the other was engraved into the mould and this number can be found in all pars cased using the same mould.

Cheers olleck, would I be right in saying that considering both serial numbers it's about another 600 down the line, would that be 6 months later or so?
