770 780 siroco roll bar

770 780 siroco roll bar

Hello, a new member on the forum is selling a selectamatic 770/ 780 roll frame, does anyone know if it will fit an 885 ? Cheers richie

I would suspect that a roll bar for a 770 or a 780 is not officially approved for a 885, but I am not sure, but check it before you fit it.

fairly certain that they should be ok. Normally these roll bars have their approval printed on them if not they are not legal anyway.

does your 885 have flat top mudguards?if yes then why not opt for the db roll bar/cab frame.,
i'm not certain but the flat top mudguards will not allow the scirroco type roll bar to fit withou seeing some pictures of roll bar and tractor

Thanks for reply’s chaps, I have a dB frame but can’t get in low shed with it, the siroco frames come down and into the back of the axle so was hoping to adapt square type mudgaurds? Cheers rich

Safety regulations are strict. Do not make any modifications or repairs to a approved safety device. A roll bar is one example of a part that should not be modified, altered or repaired in any way.
