The physical size will depend on the carrier mounted on the tractor and if it's the original with lid and side rods. As for it's power size and rating it will be a single 12Volt of the highest possible Ah you can afford, upper side of at least 95 preferably one with a black casing. When you purchase one just make sure that you can return it for a more suitable one if it's not adequate at first and also find out what warrantee there is, some batteries carry a 12 month, others 3 years, some only warrant the casing others the whole unit. Your local farmers hardware suppliers, any good tyre/exhaust and battery centre or a garage should be able to supply what you need.

Hi,

Something like a Lion `027` (half decent budget battery) which is 60ah and about 500 cca should be ok (see link) - assuming she`s a relatively easy starter.

Its a battery that is the size that you would have to start a 2.0HDI Berlingo van!!. If you go to a motor factors just check the size as PR says relative to battery carrier size as too small and you will need to stop the battery moving about and too big.....
