I attended a Classic Vehicle and Machinery auction by Morris Leslie Group at Errol near Perth in Scotland last Saturday. There were 7 tractors there with the main one of interest being the 995 shown in the photos. Although very tidy looking from a short distance, with approx 6400hrs, this was no concours tractor and yet the hammer went down at £6200. There would have been a buyers fee on top of that but not sure if VAT was applicable.
As I said, very tidy and engine had recently been done up but it had been painted without removing the cab, there was no matting on the cab floor, the rubber seals on doors were scarce, back windows were very badly scratched and the bonnet was not fitted correctly at the cab. Still, the seller must have been reasonably happy and should inspire every owner to keep their tractors in good condition.
