I came across a youtube channel that may be of interest. A guy is restoring a 990 selectamatic and is documenting the process.

A small selection of his content so far includes removing and dismantling of the PTO housing, restoration and rebuild of the PTO housing, removing the hydraulic pump, resealing the hydraulic pump, dismantling the diff, dismantling and inspection of the gearbox, and much much more.
