seeking images of 990 hydraulic valves

Post by Wheelrim » Sun Mar 15, 2020 6:37 pm

My 1968 990 selectamatic is almost restored.

The hydraulics have suffered from water entering the oil whilst exposed in a field for about 15 years.
The rubber seals at the base of the gear levers had perished.

I've flushed the 'wateroil/ mayonaise' sludge and replaced the oil in the gearbox twice.
It lift arms still do not move.
The ram can be moved with gentle pushing, so no oil is reaching it.

I consider that when I read repair and maintenance instructions I'm understanding the basic requirements and feel I need to undertake cleaning of valves.

My concern is that I would like to see clear images of;
Latching, spool, hold, non return, etc valves.

Yesturday I visited Stuart Gibbard's open day event near Spalding hoping to obtain a suitable parts catalogue or similar.
Unfortunately after he and I spent a considerable time seaching a fabulous range of possible items, none were found that I could use.

Is there somewhere where I can buy, borrow or see images of the valves?
Or does anyone have images that they can scan and send to me?

Thanks
Trev
