990 Implematic ( an early 1963 one)

Post by rogermorel » Sun Nov 06, 2016 6:05 pm

Hi Everyone,
Can anyone help me please regarding some details about 990 Implematics manufactured early 1963. It has come to me with Cropmaster style wheels and I'm sure that they are not original however I've seen a photo of a 990 with that type of wheel. Any ideas please?
Another question is about the 'tombstone'; is the later model 990 ( with the battery behind the grill) the same as the tombstone for the earlier models with the batterys beside the drivers seat?
No doubt many more questions will follow- this is my first restoration!!!

The tombstones are different. Are you asking about front or rear wheels?

Many thanks for your reply. The wheels I mean are the rear wheels.

Some 990 tractors had 36 inch rims that vaguely resembled Cropmaster types
