Australian export 950

Post by Ozz-DB » Sun Mar 07, 2010 11:55 pm

Dear all,
I have just received a copy of (Australia
"Power Farming" magazine. In it there is an
article about the DB 950A, an export version of
the DB 950. A = Australian.
The article gives a basic technical description
of the tractor but doen't explain the difffence
between the UK and Export model.

Any ideas?

Does anyone own a 950A?

The article states that "David Brown 950A of 1959 was designed with input from Australian farmers."

Regards from Ozz-DB

The Aussie export model had the optional extra of not having a cab as they did not require it in the conditionsjavascript:emoticon('')
This was a very cheap extra given the expense of specially creating these tractors without cabs
It is believed most Australian famrmers opted to pay this premium
