my new beast!

Post by 6-POT-PHIL » Tue Jan 01, 2008 8:59 pm

Hi all, although i have kept an eye on this forum for a long time now i have finally got round to registering at long last. I have recently sold my 1961 850 implematic after having 7 years of fun with it. I have now jumped to the opposite end of the scale with my next project 'A CASE IH 1594 4WD' It needs plenty of tidying up but she's a runner. This is my first attempt of hosting a picture so if ive got this right there should be a photo of my new beast below.

Hopefully i will keep posting you lot some pics at different stages of repairs.

Lastly HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!

Hi Phil,
Welcome to the DBTC as a registered contibutor rather than just a "viewer"!

You got everthing just spot-on! Location and posting pics - well done!

Proper tool you got there! and it looks in reasonably tidy order - hopefully it won't take too much work! "Ay By Gum Lad!!!!

Best regards - Chris

kentuckyshaker wrote:Great job on the 850. I can see my 61 Oliver 500 just below the great paint job. I have wanted to see what the grill looks like, and thats a good photo. I am having trouble with a 3-pt leak from the main piston, and have a posting on the site. Did you run into any problems with your 3-pt?
Thanks,

Hi Kentuckyshaker, thats probably one of the few places mine did'nt leak! Fixed leaks on just about every other moving part!
Hope you get it sorted.
