Hi, that looks a good tractor. You do not see many of those cabs in the UK on a 996, most seem to be the low profile version, or on larger tractors such as 1212/1410 etc.

The cab is a Sekura S74 and was called the Deluxe cab in UK. This cab was introduced at the same time as the cab known in UK as the Q-cab. The Q-cab or the low profile cab was newer imported to Finland, because these cabs could not be homologated because of strict safety regulations. All tractors (885, 990, 995, 996, 1210, 1212, 1410 and 1412) started from 1976 imported to Finland had the Sekura S74 cab and there was no choice for an other cab. The S74 was the only cab approved.

Here's a bonus picture for the Aussies !

The UK 'low profile' version of this cab had the gear levers in front of the seat.

They also had a 'thinner' roof panel, almost a flat panel.

Hi Jamba,

when you say `project` what do you mean!!.

If that tractor was in the UK in that original untouched condition if you went anywhere near it restoring it would immediately de-value it.
Whatever tomwill offers I`ll beat him by 10 Australian dollars!!.

A lovely tractor - leave as she is and use as she is.

Cheers

Andy

Sadly we never had that cabin out here we had the later one but when over there I sat in one and was very impressed.TW
