DB Club in Australia

The DBTC of AUSTRALIA would like wish all DBTC members Worldwide a Happy XMAS and Festive season, and may i add all other tractor clubs as it is Goodwill to all Mankind. Cheers TOM WILLIAMS SECRETARY.

Just a reminder the next DBTC of Australia be at the Commercial Hotel Ballan Victoria at 6.00 pm followed by a dinner. Discussion will be on how the club is running and also our entry into the Australian Vintage Field days in March 2013. Cheers Tom Williams

In regard to the DBTC of Australia our meeting was held at Ballan Victoria 18th FEB with about 20 members attending plus about 30 apoligies .Business included the general running of the club and where we are up to at this stage.We have puchased a large tent which we will using at tractor shows etc.The club is focusing on updating the newsletters for our members due to the great distance we have in this great country of ours. Our next meeting will be at Echuca on VIC and NSW border in the June long weekend. Cheers Tom Williams.

Hi Tom , Will the Club be represented at the Queensland show held in Biloela this year .May take a 30 T crawler out there this year .

I am sorry the DBTC will not be there,however as the club expands we may get up that way,this is our problem distance.Cheers Tom Williams.

.Yes distance is a big problem . The is a member in the Biloela club who owns a large collection of David Brown tractors . He had 30 or so DBs at the national show held in Biloela in 2007 .

I thought i had a photo of his 50D ,but can't spot it at the moment .

I will contact one of the above mentioned people about membership details.
A local club will help local collectors keep the brand "alive" in Australia.

I am based in Victoria, I am currently "tractor-less" but have keen interest in DAVID BROWN, IH and classic JD machinery.

Sorry I have been busy with work getting in the way of fun. Great to hear that the ball is still rolling with the Aussie DBTC.
With the contacts that have been mentioned, is it possible to list their email addresses as well. Like you say distance is a problem and STD phone call are expensive as well. Can you also list a way to join and become a member of the Club?
Also a number of people are asking about the DBTCA on other Forums, would you consider listing your details etc on them so more people are aware of the Clubs existence?

Just a reminder the DBTC of AUST will be having a meeting at the Bendigo showgrounds on 2 nd june 2012 at 3.30pm. The clubs newly purchased Markee will up along with some DB information, plus hoping to have some DB tractors for the tractor trec which takes place at 10.30 in the morning.Cheers Tom Williams DBTC AUST
