DB Club in Australia
Moderator: admin
Tom,
Judging from the amount of correspondence I get from our Australian members, I would bet that an Australian group would thrive. Some of the collections I hear about are extensive and seem to contain some very interesting models! I wish you the very best of luck in getting something together.
Regards
Robert

Sounds interesting. Would it be a standalone club or affiliated in someway with DBTC ?
I'm on the NSW Central Coast and not sure if there are many other DB owners/enthusiasts in the Sydney-Newcastle region, although it would be nice to know. Tell me more.

Tomwill Are you able to tell us a bit more please?
We have a bloke named Tom Oram who puts what I think was his first post up asking if anyone is interested in forming a DB club in Australia. Then we have a whole lot of posts expressing interest (which is great) and then your post advises that the club allready has a committee and the president is Tom Oram.
I am confused -is this club allready up and running and if so what sort of activities does it have?
It seems to me there is a lot of interest and it would be good to get something underway but I would just like to understand what is happening.

Thanks Tom for the further info. I guess I still dont understand why the original post did not tell us that a club had allready been formed but anyway on with the show.
So to give some guidance to all those aho have expressed interest if they were to send you an email at your address you have given that would be a good way to get things going?
As I suspect most of us will not be able to travel the huge distance to some tractor events the club will probably thrive and survive on emails and newsletters and internet rather than face to face.
