Trying to find names for Hydraulic parts 990 selectamatic

Post by Wheelrim » Sat Apr 11, 2020 6:14 pm

If anyone could help by naming the various parts 'labelled' with coloured paper triangles I would be most greatful.

I may then be able to follow instructions on how to repair the inactive hydraulics.

NB The ram is free and the pump works, ( It briefly caused a 'Saudi Arabian' oilfield GEYSER at one test I carried out :) )

Any other thoughts are very welcome.

I've other photos but do not want to jamb up the system!

Stay safe

Trev here.
Thanks to all who had viewed this request.

It may seem daft to many of you but at last after perhaps more than 20 hours of reading and research I now realise that the valve system is under the plate.

I discovered where it was once I found that the ‘dump valve’ was an optional extra.

I have to work on it outside so will try to tackle cleaning and renewing seals when the weather warms up in the East of England.

NB.
I’m still confused about the 3 way valve having 4 positions, so if anyone can off an explanation I would be most pleased.
