The sender unit and gauge were not working on my DB780. The new sender has a single spade connector and the gauge has a B,T and earth connector. I connected the 12v feed onto B terminal and the wire to the sender onto the T terminal. The other end to the float transmitter.
Nothing registers on power up. If i apply earth to the transmitter body nothing happens. If i apply earth to the earth point on the gauge, the needle jumps to full. The needle does not move when the float is moved.
What is wrong please?
