Case 1594 on Ebay

This section has been requested by various Members who have interesting things to say about DB items on eBay, i.e. giving advice to new DB Members about the suitability of eBay items. It is NOT for selling items that are on eBay, Members can do that in the For Sale section. Neither is it to be used for derogatory comments about eBay items or eBay Sellers. The section will be strictly controlled and any posts deemed unsuitable by the Administrators will be removed.

David Brown engines were just that, David Brown, and never resembled any other engine in the remotest sense. David Brown were intending to have co-operation with Cummins in a new engine and transmission at the time the factory at Meltham was taken over and Case IH produced the red and black 94 series tractors at Meltham until they closed the factory and manufacture was transferred to Doncaster and the D.B. connection ceased from that moment, although I do believe that only a very few were assembled at Doncaster, using up what was left. It was the Maaxim that had the Cummins engine and transmission, not the David Brown.
