Someone Should Grab This.
Anyone in the Christchurch area should seriously go for this very rare item, an easy restoration.

RE: Someone Should Grab This.
Someone got a bargain !
RE: Someone Should Grab This.
Certainly did. It was listed in 'toys' so was probably missed by a lot of would be bidders. The one I have, with front loader, cost me a considerable amount more but it was in nearly new condition.

Forgot that one - should have put that on my watch list!!!
There was one at Malvern about 5 years ago - a fella came up to the club stand and mentioned it to David Lewis (Scooby) saying it was in the back of his van and would anyone be interested - David mentioned it to me and we went out to have a look - absolutely mint and hardly used - I asked him a price and he say make an offer - "Will a hundred and fifty buy it" I replied. David nearly dropped and looked at me as though I had been taking illegal substances!!!. Got to two hundred and he would not sell - he wanted I think £300 for it.
H`mmmmmmm
Cheers

That still is a lot of money 'up North'
Some of the Sharna (780) tractors seem to have had white bonnet tops and brown 'side panels' :

Strong money, in fact a fortune in 1969 - I got bought a Scalextrix Mini Cooper set in 1969 and that was £9 (old money).
Bit tricky with decimalisation but in `old money` a gallon of petrol was 80 pennies in 1969 ( 240 pennies to a pound).
After decimalisation (ie stuff we use today) a gallon of petrol was 34p in 1971.
Bet you could have got a decent (ish) Cropmaster in 1969 for £69 !!!
Cheers

In April 1961 my Father bought a 4 year old 30D from the local dealer for £25 with brand new 13x28 India rear tyres and then in May 1967 traded it back to the dealer for a new Selectamatic 880 which, with a few 'extras' and road tax cost £815 less 15% 'investment' grant from the Nuffield Scheme (Small Farmers Scheme) that was running at that time. I can't remember what he got in PX for the 30D.
