!950 Cropmaster - How much?

Post by Alchad » Wed Jul 13, 2011 4:51 pm

OK guys I know all the caveats, but I've had an email from someone who has just lost her father and has to sell his 1950 (ish) Cropmaster. Apparently it's been restored and in good condition and she's looking for a ball park figure so she doesn't get ripped off.,

Anybody prepared to offer a guess?

times are hard, Italys about to go bust, window tax is going up etc!!! - suppose I could get a grand together!

On a serious note - depends on the standard of restoration, brush paint job or proper paint job.

TVO - probably 1500-2500, average resoration, really nice restoration, £2500- £3500.

Diesel - £3500 minimum, anything up to £5000 or more if really well restored.

This assumes of course the lack of the usual Croppy problem, no cracked block.

Hope this helps - I hope if she sells it goes to a good home, nothing worse than getting rid of your late parents items.
