I think that the 3800 was more commonly known as the 880 Selectamatic, you may be better asking for information on that, its a well known model!

(Assuming that it is the same of course... 3 Cylinder Diesel, 46hp, Non Synchromesh Transmission, Selectamatic Hydraulics)

Falconjet. Suggest that you post a picture on here. You will soon be told what tractor you have got and maybe you will get lucky with manuals etc. :D :D :D

This picture is from the US spec Selectamatic brochure, if i remember the 3800 was a petrol version of the 780 and the larger 4600 was the petrol equivalent of the 880. Being petrol powered they were fitted with a modified head to use spark plugs, and AC Delco distributor and a Zenith carburetor. Hopes this helps.
