Cropmaster TVO engine leaks water into sump

Post by DavidRushmer » Sun Aug 02, 2009 10:58 pm

:( Hello,
Can anyone tell me whether I can repair my Croppy engine block that's leaking just under the gasket? I know the block has been repaired professionally on outside in usual place but I've found a hairline crack between cylinders 2 and 3 and having had a friend help me to carefully clean and prepare the block, I don't know whether it can be repaired in this place or will I have to source a replacement block? If so, does anyone have one for sale?
I'm going away from 7th to 23rd Aug so may be delay in me replying to any of your comments.

Thanks from David Rushmer, Wisbech 07831 880481

I would advise you to go a tad further than the top side if its cracked you want to check the bottom webbing too as it also cracks there then make your call on replacement or repair Good luck Doug
