Tacho drive

I am trying to get the tacho drive out of the block on my 1212 with sekura deluxe cab. I have remov3d the bullet shaped retaining bolt but it wont shift. tia.

The retaining bolt keeps the drive cable connector in place, please see the following link https://partstore.caseih.com/us/parts-s ... 9ar1294494 The connector is like a bushing for the oil pump drive shaft top end in the block. The cable is driven by the top end of the oil pump drive shaft, and you will need to remove the complete oil pump if you need to do something to the shaft. Please see the following link https://partstore.caseih.com/us/parts-s ... 9ar1248464 The oil pump can be removed after the oil pan has been removed. Why do you want to remove the tachometer drive?

The thread has been damaged where tacho cable screws on, i was hoping it was easily removed.

See if you can get a thread file to it to clean it up. If no thread file use a 3 sided file and be careful in cleaning it up.
