900 seat and mudguard

Post by Gard » Tue Apr 09, 2019 10:46 pm

I have started working on seat and mudguard. I have more time than money at this point so am trying to repair and reuse as many parts as possible. I know the seat support system is not correct but am not too sure what it is supposed to look like. I am repairing the battery box and am using a photo from the web as a general guide, the drawing from the parts manual is not too clear. I will add "ears" for seat pivot points to the front and a platform to the back of the battery box. I think this platform supports the rubber bumpers. However it is not clear to me what the bottom of the seat should look like and how it attaches to these ears. Can anyone point me to a photo or other info?
I am looking to get something functional, it would be a bonus if it is somewhat close to original.
