Referb injectors

Hello again.. I had a few questions in the past relating to starting issues that I have with the DB 996. I just want to tell you all that I was going to compression test on the 996 but the compression test kit that I had didn't have the correct adapter for the injector holes.. I'll keep you updated on that matter for those who gave me advance on the previous questions.
I have reconditioned injectors ready to be put in after I compression test it and assemble the coolant system.. the question I have is when I'm putting the 'new' injectors back in should I lightly coat them in engine oil to help them slid down the injector hole for I had noticed a skinning of oil on the old injectors as I was taking them out and I don't know of that should be there or not! Any advice?? Thanks

The most important thing is to be certain that the bores and seats are absolutely clean. If any combustion gases are leaking past the injectors carbon buildup occurs, making injector removal difficult. There is nothing to be gained by oiling the injectors in the long term, they are a loose fit in the bores. The copper sealing washers must be in good condition and can be annealed if necessary.

The old injectors had carbon build on the tip but I don't no how long they were in there?? One injector was fairly hard to take out! The other two slid out handy enough.

I understand the need to have the bores clean but wonder if a very light coat of grease will keep rust off the injector or bore?

So...did you not remove the fourth injector? If not, why?
