1412 spool valve cables

Post by starider » Sun Feb 03, 2019 10:38 pm

Hi, can anyone help please? I need to replace 2 of the loader cables on my 1412. I've looked on all the web sites for tractor spares to no avail. The levers are marked Vapormatic and that end of the cable uses a clevis, the problem is the spool valve end which fits onto the valve. The end which goes on the end of the valve has a fixed cap which goes over the end of the valve, an ordinary pin then goes through both parts and when the retaining cover goes onto the spool valve block to fix the cable, the top prevents the pin from coming out. I can't find any cable which has this end cap. Any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated as the loader is down and I can't move the tractor!!! .....................starider :?:

Hi, I think walvoil valve banks use the end you describe, they are on a lot of loader banks. You can manually push or pull the spool to lift the loader if you need to move it aswell

Hi, gave up in the end and purchased new levers and cables. In each package was a universal fitting kit which contained the correct spool valve fitting.A little expensive, but job done and all is working perfectly......................starider :D
