Newby Hall and The Honley Show

Newby Hall, near Ripon in North Yorkshire. This is a magnificent 18thcentury grade one listed building. David & Jessica Throup will be on The David Brown Stand. Also David will be operating his PTO driven dynamometer on a separate stand. So please take your classic tractors to this wonderful show ground.

Honley Show, Farnley Tyas near Huddersfield. This is a local show to the Meltham Factory where David Brown Tractors were manufactured. This year the Show Organisers have created a David Brown Tractor Class in recognition of this local manufacturer that closed 30 years ago. The club will be exhibiting a few tractors from the museum including the Ferguson-Brown Type A that was manufactured locally at Park Works, Lockwood in 1936. The last time a Ferguson-Brown was on public display in Huddersfield was 1972 when David Brown Tractors opened R-Block to the public. If you would like to take your classic tractors they must be booked in before Saturday, Tractors turning up on the day will not be allowed in. Honley Show general enquiries 01484 661072
