Many DB tractors plus many others up for auction soon here in Queensland

Post by John.Newman » Mon Apr 30, 2018 12:44 pm

Here is a link to an interesting clearing sale where there are quite a few DB tractors up for grabs. Unfortunately I will not get to it though as it is located about 500 km or 6 hours drive north of my location.

If I had known the 2D would have had a new home down here. We just did a 1500klm round trip for a little dump truck so a close would be a good thing. Maybe even have it delivered by someone who did not buy a new toy and truckies are always looking for an extra load. I could've had ti delivered to Toowoomba and left it at my Sisters house.

Here are a couple of results from this sale.
There are another two of these up for sale this Saturday along with more than a hundred other vintage and classic tractors etc.
These can be viewed at this website: www.bundabergauctions.com.au/. Hopefully, I may be lucky enough to get one or two of these. This sale site is only about 15 minutes drive from home so easy enough to go back home to get my trailer if needed.

That’s what I thought- Very low price, would have been three to four times higher in this country.

Missed out on the 50D & 2D as mentioned in previous post in last Saturdays auction, The 50D sold for $34,000 after some active bidding and the 2 D went for $7000. Also an early Cropmaster for $2500 and a DB 2 furrow plough for $900. Would have looked good behind my Cropmaster but someone wanted it more than I did. Did end up with a red tractor though - a 1938-39 Farmall F in running condition.Best price was a 1911 International Titan Type D. Bidding started at $50,000 and topped at $80,000.

Thanks for the update John. I do like your latest toy, the Farmall F. Prices were good for the seller on the DB tractors.
