Last weekend we went over to the Gloucester Show Day about an hour inland from us in NSW. Unfortunately we could not take our 30C due to ongoing brake and other repairs prior to preparation for paint. So we took our Lorry with a Grey Fergy & plough followed by our van but there was a couple of respectable Davids on display.
The 25D has been done in 2pak paint and the set up for his dual wheels is unique to say the least. This year I actually got in close with the camera and took some photos of his design but in short it uses 3 naïve plates (wheel centres) and a collar. The lump of steel across the front of the 25D is the axle from a very old Ox cart from the early days of logging in the district. The 990 was also a tidy looking tractor and ran beautifully just like the 25D.
Hope you enjoy!
