If you look at the base plate for the Cessna valve (the slice between the valve and the rear axle) you should see a plug in the front corner of the plate on the left hand side. This is a second oil return point.

Thanks ollek, I've looked at the spacer under my Cessna valve and don't find the plug you referenced but I understand what we're trying to accomplish here. I made a "power beyond" plate and installed it above the Cessna valve to power other hydraulic systems. I would imagine that I can just "tee" into the return line on the power beyond plate and accomplish the same result.

I finally finished this modification today. I wish I had done it long ago. With the old system my tractor couldn't lift my 6 foot thrasher off the ground. Now it lifts quickly all the way up to the travel lock position. It also holds position very well. Once again ollek and cossyrec show us that there is more than one way to skin a cat! Thanks to all who contributed to this thread. This type of information keeps these solid old tractors useful all over the world. If I were a better mechanic perhaps I could have properly rebuilt the chest valve but this is a very acceptable alternative.
Regards,
