what happened to the David Brown engine molds?

what happened to the David Brown engine molds?

Was curious to find out what happened to all the David Brown equipment in the factory? Trans molds, engine molds etc..

Its worth remembering that many of the castings were 'bought in', as the tractor factory did not have its own foundry. I think there are a few castings (sand castings?) on the wall at the DBTC museum. Many of the gears would be produced from line diagrams etc. but I'd suspect many ended up getting thrown away over the years. There will still be thousands of technical drawings throughout the UK in private ownership, and probably many in peoples lofts.

hmmm interesting. was just curious. seems like the majority of our tractors over here are made in china for the time being. hoping that changes under the new administration.
