DB 25 C / 25 D

Post by db-885 » Thu Aug 04, 2016 8:14 pm

Hello community,

yesterday I bought a David Brown 25 ?? (gasoline)... it´s from 1955 and in good condition.

Who can explain the difference between 25 C and 25 D?

.... and ....

can anyone tell me if these models have a trailer coupling, or is it only with a hitch?

Pictures will follow tomorrow
Greetings from Germany

25C is Gasoline and 25D is Diesel
A trailer coupling requires a special valve that connects to the front of the hydraulic ram cylinder on the rear axle behind your left leg.

Have you got any pictures of your 25?

When you ask about a 'coupling', I think you are asking about a trailer 'drawbar' or 'hitch'. There were a few different ones from the square one that originally came with the Cropmaster, the swinging or Bowden drawbar and a single hole type. I will try to attach a photograph of them.
