I'm restoring a 1955 25D.
How much of the engine should be painted red,all of it including nuts and bolts?
What is the correct colour for the exhaust?
Should the metal fan blade be red or black?

Thanks
Dan.

Everything was hunting pink including the dynamo and starter motor. The exhaust was aluminium, not black.
The lights would be black, if fitted.

Db2d beat me to it. I've had a look at mine and all the engine is red once you wipe years of oil leaks away  but that's prob why it's not really rusted
