db 1190 fuel pump

db 1190 fuel pump

hello and thank you in advance, 1190 fuel pump, there is no filter in the top of the fuel pump glass bowl , should there be, is there a filter in the pump housing, thank you

I'm not 100% certain but the later ones without the glass sediment bowl do not have a filter gauze in them. If you Google 'AC fuel lift pump' in 'images', find the one that is like the one on the tractor and click on the image you may get an exploded diagram come up.

My 83 1190 has the glass bowl and also a mesh filter in the top.
