Hope that someone recorded hammer prices for the auction lots, it would be nice to see a full report in the next Tractor News. Hope you all had a good and successful day and will look forward to reading all about it and seeing photos.

Another excellent Auction at the Club Museum, many thanks from the committee for all the vendors and buyers who turned up - a very large sale this one, the weather was excellent and the number of lots to be offered was impressive, one of the biggest sales we`ve seen for a long time.

Special mentions to Mr Chris Maddison for stepping in to cover for our normal full time Auctioneer Joe Swift who had to cancel at the last minute due to family circumstances, its a difficult job, more so if you are the shy, retiring, softly spoken type of character that Chris is

Also a great big thank you to Andrea Jakeman who had her work cut out on the admin side from 8am to gone 5pm - many thanks Andrea, the sale would not have been possible without your and Chris`s efforts - a big thanks all round.

A couple of pics - Chris eagerly spotting bids (or was it checking the Butty van was still open  ) and every young DB fans dream, an electric model 880!!

Cheers

Andy
