New arrival 1410 4wd wont start

Post by davewhitwam » Sun Jul 15, 2012 3:24 pm

I have just bought a 1410 4wd thats in need of alot of tlc. I had a play with her and found that the engine was seized, so put some diesel down through the injector holes and left it to soak and it eventually free off. I then cleaned all the fuel lines and new filters ect. I also change the injectors with some that i already had. But my problem is ive bled it all up but fuel will not come through injector 1 but comes out of 2, 3, 4 fine?? Also when turning it over there is no smoke coming out of the exhaust and will not fire even on 2, 3, 4. I think it could be the fuel pump? any sugestion on the next step?

Got her running other week. She runs beautifully and pulls like a train. Managed to get eveything working, hydraulics strong and is a fantastic tractor, just the front axle to go now.

Gota love that sound, straight through pipe Dave? Fancy wrecking this one, you have done a great job. Load her well around the 2000rpm mark and listen to her whistle then. What dimensions on your pipe?

Nice tractor. I agree with Jazo though defiantly sounds to have a valve off.

She sounds a little different because she hasnt got a air filter housing on because there was a big rust hole in the side of it. We had all the rocker cover off and everything seems fine.
