25d gearbox replacement?

25d gearbox replacement?

hi
i have got a 25d i want to retore ut water has come in past the gerlvers and corroded everythin in the top of the gerbox :( as the transmissions havent changed much over the years would somthing like a 6 speed 880 gearbox fit or does it need to be a 25d gearbox

I believe that the 30D and early 900 gearbox is the same as the 25D and possibly the Cropmaster diesel 6 speed.

Hi as far as i know Cropmaster 30c 30d 25c 25d with 6 speed are all the same gearbox

i havent yet as i am still finishing off my 1978 series 3 land rover but i may try that breakers after i have finised i also need to unseize the engine on the tractor so a fair bit of work to be done
