880A Front Weight Frame

Post by tdickson » Wed Feb 01, 2012 10:20 am

I recently purchased a front weight frame for my 880 Selectamatic, however it is missing the stirrup bar that holds the ulower rear part of the weights. I intend to fabricate one to suit and would like to keep it as accurate as possible to original specs.

Can anyone help with dimensions for upright and bar width and thickness?

Thanks
TD

Thanks for the info cambs.

I'm also missing the round bar in the diagram. CaseIH website shows it as a 'spacer bar'. Not sure what it's for or how it fits?

The spacer bar is the same that is part of the front loader kit. This bar fits across the inside of the front casting, remove the plastic 'cup' blanking bungs from the large holes at the rear of the casting and the bar, which has a threaded hole each end for the bolts, slides in through.
