Allen key studs tandem pump

Post by MARKKILLUCAN » Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:19 pm

Would any one know the right size, type, thread etc.. for the allen key studs on a tandem pump for a 1594. The long ones that hold on the steel pipe and other steel fitting on left side of pump, looking at the cab of tractor. Recently changed pump and got them back on tight. But they are well rung at this stage. Would like to order a few to have. Thanks

I can not understand what you are after. There is no studs with the pump and there is only one key at the rear pump drive shaft. This key is shaped like a half moon and is called woodruff key. Please see pages 8-242 and 8-246 in imag 084 in the following link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... 0xJNjY1VW8 The bolts (not studs) that holds the pipes to the pump are shown as normal bolts in the parts catalogue, but also Allen bolts (also called hex head screws) have been used and you use a tool called Allen key to turn Allen bolts.

I have sent you the link to the complete parts catalogue. Please see if pages 8-248 and 8-250 shows what you need. These pages shows parts for the pressure side of the pump and the two earlier pages was for the pump inlet side. You have not told us if you are talking about pressure or suction pipe fasteners. And I also think you are talking about the longer bolts and not the "larger".
