I'd like to see the 900 cutaway - that really would be something different! I doubt that many people have seen one of those before...was it originally used by DB when advertising the 900 or was it made later on?

Does anybody know if Cropmaster Diesels started easily when new, or did it take a few turns to get them going?

Also, were they smokey when running until they warmed up?

That tractor's far too good to be left in the hedge! Pull it out, blow up the wheels, straighten the grille, and see will the engine turn over. Is the block cracked?

No, I'm from Southern Ireland. Ballymena is a great show, I was there this year, and the standard of the tractor restorations was excellent.

Well, after taking the whole thing apart today (gearbox cover off etc.), I have discovered that what actually happened is that the pressure plate cracked. I'll fit a new one next weekend and it should be back on the road again!
