I had similar problems , it was a stone in the pipe from the tank to the lift pump Causing the problem I also had a knocking at high revs that turned out to be a bit of valve stuck in the piston That was whacking itself into the head New head and piston sorted that from Ron greet breakers Totnes The...

Ahh yes I see i have been thinking of the QD loader hence the mix up here
I thought some loaders did have extra holes in which to locate the rams which altered the lift height

For what it's worth I thaught a gd90 had a quick hich
with quick release , nose guard , twin tilt rams and much stronger
This despite looking like a solid straight loader , looks like the red bits have been painted black !!
