RE: nasty experience

I've heard a tale recently over in my neck of the woods about a 6 pot owner with bouncy cheques, must be catching.

RE: Re: 6 cyl

A touch of paranoia seems to be creeping in. I refer you to the case in the high court 2 weeks ago ref: defamation through a discussion forum. The potential for damages through litigation are all too apparent, so as a member of this club and the commitee I simply feel it is my responsibility to make...

6 cyl

Looking at the drivel some of you lads throw at each other reminds me of being at infants school. I've had this 6 cyl debate with Joe face to face and I could have gripped him couldn't I, but keeping a perspective is easy for anyone with an IQ above 4. A discussion forum is just that. not a place to...

Had a lovely 1594. c plate 4wd. Hydrashift rebuilt due to previous owner in Cheshire being from the one jug fits all school of oil management and cement mixing... Couldn't make that old girl squeal, even with 15 tonnes of grass on her back, she'd snort up the Knowle in Meltham and not even think abo...

RE: front loader

The big L1500 case power loader is a bit of an animal, but be wary of getting giddy as castings get terminally upset with hard graft. Seen one on a 1594 but it had about 600kg on the back end to spread the pain! Hell of a tool tho! These fella's aren't cheap and I have known one with a 4 in 1 bucket...

Can't speak highly enough of the Hydrashift unit fitted to my old 1594. Brilliant box, over engineered to a point but in loving hands and with the back-end oil out at regular intervals, it's fantastic. The old girl would yak 14 tonnes of top soil up the Knowle in Meltham without any misbehaving, I d...

RE: 1394 price

Somewhere around £1-1.5k I would have thought in that condition but there are some pretty giddy prices being paid in the right sales.
All to do with putting the tackle in front of the right buyers.

cheers

Hurricane Restoration Project

Just a quick note to ask for anybody with any knowledge about the development of the Hurricane, anecdotal or technical as I have started a full photographic restoration of said machine with a view to producing an article or series in 'Tractor News'. When she is finished she will be on display in the...
