Yer like Jazo says a bit of movement is fine. Turbo's use whats called a floating bearing.
As long as impellor blades don't touch the housing its fine.

Odin, first things first, make sure you fully read your user manual cover to cover at least twice to make sure you fully understand the complex workings of your ashtray. Obviously i would advise on good safety glasses to stop ash blowing in your eyes, gloves to stop your fingers staining, ear muffs ...

Your 1690t will be standard gearbox which are a fraction faster than hydra-shifts anyway so that will help a bit. Its possible to do 40k at just 2000rpm by changing a couple of gears in the gearbox without touching reductions or your dropbox. Some guys in preston will do this for you but its not che...

Pulled my assistor ram in bits on my 1694 yesterday, there's a 70mm nut at the top of it you need to undo. I ordered new seal from my local bearing supplier.

Thats 97th red one built then. Mine was first one down the line on the 15th july but not registered till december. If you PM "Mills" on here he should give you its build date.

Yes Andy your right, the clutch was fairly new but soaked in oil. Could be an oily clutch thats oilys problem! :lol: :lol:
