The 996 also has a larger clutch fitted than the 995 (think its a 1200 clutch). If you look where the gearbox bell housing bolts to the engine frame there is a spacer to allow for the bigger clutch. This is also why the dash panel does'nt have a cut out in it for the steering column as there is more...

You can never get tired of listening to the sound track of a DB 6 cylinder. I prefer the loook of 4wd drive but both are top machines. :D

Hi Richard,

Nice tractor you have there. Biggest hp tractor out of Meltham i believe. I was after a 1694 before i was offered my 1594 at a price i could'nt say no so i went for that. As James says they do look well in magpie colours. Keep the photo's coming.
