RE: Will 16.9R38 fitt standard 1394?

Hi, yes, i'm aware of the difference in bolt patterns, but thanks for pointing it out again.
My 1394 is still in boxes, so just wondering in 16.9R38 would fit..
Tractor has 11/49 reductions and the original 16.9R30 wheels, so would like to go bigger in order to sink the revs :-)

RE: 1210 diesel slap!!

Yes, Simms /Minimec pumps can be used / interchanged.
Bosch pumps need different distribution backplate, adapter between pump and backplate, fuel lines, linkages etc. not worth the hassle if you can't get hold of a complete set.

Will 16.9R38 fitt standard 1394?

Hi guys, Just a simple question, maybe you have done it already :-) - Will 16.9R38 fit under the cab of a standard 1394? - What size front wheel need to go with that? 6.00R19? I've been offered a set of 94 series 38" rims and would like my 1394 to drop in revs when going on roadruns etc. Therefore w...

Stumbled on this old eBay ad today, and this guy rates the horsepower of the engine as 70 instead of the normal 81? (according to spec sheet 77 SAE horses / 72 DIN horses), due to Air Force specifications: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CASE-1394-Turbo-Diesel-Cab-Air-Conditioned-Tractor-ex-Air-Force-Low-Ti...

RE: help help help !

It seems to me you have an early type of cylinderhead. These were equipped with smaller valves, on the early 880's and 1200's (which I have). These smaller valves were mounted in combination with a camshaft with a bigger lift. I can not tell by the chassis number what engine your tractor should have...

RE: 990 with AD4/47A engine

@ Erkki / Fred, Have seen the same here with aftermarket liners and pistons recently (can not recall the brand). Very bad quality / dimensions were out of spec on all 4 liners, but they were different to each other as well! Be carefull what to fit / where to buy. Regarding whacking the liners out, b...

Hi Andrew, Not to disappoint you, but the back end on your machine is the later implematic type, not the early type. It has: - the 2 speed PTO unit, - the new type of hitch lift lock and - 8 stud rear wheels. Your machine looks to me if someone has mated an old front section (incl engine) to a newer...

RE: Diesel getting into oil?

My first suspicioun would be a leak in the membrame of the fuel feed pump (near the startermotor), resulting in fuel leaking into the sump. Trottle and stop lever position does have no relation to diesel leaking into the sump. Liquids running down the exhaust when started is probably not diesel, but...

RE: Super Cropmaster Problems

My first suspicion would be the sealing rings of the cylinder liners for the cause of your problems. You can take the sump down and then apply pressure on the cooling system (air pressure, but be carefull not to overpressure!) in order to see where the engine is leaking into the sump. Have no idea w...

Hi Artur,
we've managed to source the timing gears in NL, as can be read in the other tread, so now still interested in the side panels.
Please place some photo's, or send them by email.
Regards,
Dieter

RE: Timing gears 25D; same as 850 /950?

Thanks for the info!

We managed to get a set for an 850/950 and can confirm that crankshaft + intermediate and camshaft gear can be used.
