RE: Re: RE: DB wheels to fit 995

Pitch was the only word I could think of, maybe pattern is a better one...

At least, Richbug is spot on with his explaination :D

RE: DB wheels to fit 995

You need to look for a pair of wheel with 150/203 mm pitch.

In Europe, this is quite a common pitch, used on JD's, MF etc.

1410 and 1412 do not have this pitch as far as I know, these have the same pattern as the 6 cylinder models ; 140/203, same as F*rd.

RE: David Brown Injection pump No chart For Information

Hi Jim, Very usefull information, thanks a lot for that! Will get the early 1200 (67HP) (1967) pump number for you, it differs from the later ones (P5009). - Do you have some more info on the pump differences between the 1210 and 1212? I'm very curious, as you can hear the difference in engine chara...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: 1394 help identifiying

Don't forget to engage the diff lock and ty it down! If not, the sleeve most likely will fall of and then you need to take the reduction completely off and try to fit it again. Also, if no breathers are fitted to the reductions, fit them when the reductions are mounted in straight position. Check th...

RE: 1210 tractor puller pics

Good to see you've started a nice project!

Mine looked bad when I started as well, however engine was running good, but gearbox a mess.

What's the plan for the engine? Keep it standard or will you fir a turbo engine?

Look luck and keep posting pictures of the progress!

RE: 1394 help identifiying

Hi Ollek, don't want to argue 8) on the picture of the rear end of the tractor. However, I think I can see a reversible PTO unit (in Europe mainly mounted on 6 cylinders only, but standard on US tractors as far as I know. I have the same PTO setup on my US spec 1394). @Snowman; Please don't keep us ...

RE: my david brown 990

Hi John, If you want to go wider, you can go for certain John Deere, MF, Fiat or Deutz wheels (and some more I guess, as long as they have 150/203 pattern (smaller Browns) and 140/203 for 1410/1412 + 1690/1594/1694). (140/203 is F*rd pattern). For the 94'series rims in general, you can keep the DB c...

RE: Maybe a 950...gas filter on the other side

You can identify the engine as well, just below the generator, there is the engine type stamped in. It should read AD4/36 *** (850) or D4/40 *** (950) In the dashboard, there should have been the tachometer, a temperature meter and a unit which houses 2 warning lamps: oil pressure and generator. 850...

RE: 1394 help identifiying

Where is the transferbox connected to the gearbox? Is it neat the clutch or at the PTO end possibly?
Seems to me like someone has fitted a 4wd axle and connected it to the PTO somehow, like an external oilpump f.e.
As already mentioned above, have not seen this on any Brown yet, nor in a manual.

RE: Will 16.9R38 fitt standard 1394?

Thanks again, will be looking for a set of 14.9's then, or a set of 34" rims, in order to fit some wider tyres :D
